HERMES LARNACA & PAPHOS INTL AIRPORTS
During January 2017, after tender award issued by Hermes Airports, Telectronics IT was appointed the large project to replace the existing Kenwood Airports system to a Mixed Analog/Digital Kenwood NXDN system. During April 2019 Hermes Airports as well as all other companies/departments operating at Larnaca & Paphos Airports have upgraded their radio communication systems to NXDN Digital. The whole system consists of more than 20 x Kenwood NXDN Repeaters / 70 NXDN Base/Mobiles and more than 500 handheld radios. Hermes Airports NXDN Trunking System is now the largest radio system in Cyprus fully installed and maintained by Telectronics IT.
Hermes Airports Larnaca Multi-Site Trunking Phase -3
Following last years upgrade Phase-2, this year Telectronics IT was awarded the project of an additional Trunking Site System, to provide additional coverage and roaming capabilities to all Laranaca Airport radio users. Project was awarded in May 2020 and has been completed February 2021, servicing more than 1000 radio terminals including IP connectivity with Paphos Airport. The system is being used by Airports companies/departments such as Hermes Airports, Civil Aviation, ATC, Fire Dept, CYTA, National Guard, Meteorological Dept, Iacovou Bros, CHAPOMED, SwissPort, LGS, Abelair, ICTS Security, LAFS, PPT Aviation, BP and many others operating at the Airport.

LIMASSOL PORT
Eurogate Container Terminal Limassol has chosen Telectronics IT for it's full radio communication needs following the take over the Limassol Port Container Terminal 2017. New Kenwood Radio System have been installed in Straddle Carriers, Container Bridges, Operation Rooms and handhelds. The projects are still going on with new digital installations as new equipment is added to the company's fleet.
DP World - The company taking over the Limassol Port facilities in 2017 has chosen Telectronics IT to design, supply and install/maintain it's complete radio communication system needs. Telectronics IT suppplied and installed a full digital Motorola MOTOTRBO system consisting of Operation Room Digital Base Radios and digital handhelds. System was completed in 2017 and is on-going till today with new additions.
VTT & Vasiliko OIL TERMINAL
The world known Dutch company VTT has appointed Telectronics IT the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of the 1st Digital ATEX radio system installed in Cyprus in VTTV oil and gas storage terminal. The system consists of JVC Kenwood NXDN Repeaters, with a Procom Antenna System, Base Stations and Handheld radios with integrated GPS receiver. All radio equipment & accessories are ATEX II2G£x ib IIC T4/T110/Mb certified. Telectronics IT is contracted with VTTV with a maintenance contract . PETROLINA & other Vassiliko Oil Terminal companies also employed the JVCKenwood DIGITAL NX230/330 ATEX Radios & Systems
PARKLANE RESORT & SPA LIMASSOL
In September 2018, Telectronics IT was awarded the project for the design, installation and commissioning of a full Digital Trunking Radio System for the Parklane Resort & SPA in Limassol. The offered system is JVC KENWOOD NEXEDGE GEN2 Trunking, servicing multiple user groups using 4 x repeaters & a Procom Antenna System. The digital trunking system accommodates more than 150 x NX-3320E handheld radios. The project was completed in February 2019 and is under maintenance contract until 2022.
CYPRUS POLICE FORENSIC DEPT
Tender ΤΔ 77/2018 of the Cyprus Polıce - Forensic Dept has been awarded to Telectronics IT in co-operation with PROJECTINA AG of Switzerland in November 2018 for the supply, installation, training & after sales support of 1 x Document Examination System - SPECTRA PRO project completion: December/January 2018/2019
CYPRUS FOREST DEPT
The Cyprus Forest Dept. has been awarded after tender procedure to Telectronics IT the supply of more than 350 x JVC Kenwood NXDN model NX-720/3720 vehicle radios & NX-3220E Handheld radios with GPS. Project is still on going.
GPS Radio Tracking Project
A vehicle repeater from JVC Kenwood model NXR-5700E with Kenwood KAS-10 AVL/GPS Software was installed at the special operations vehicle of the Fire Dept. which receives and tracks the exact position of the JVC Kenwood handheld radios model NX-3220E2 with integrated GPS receiver, used by Forest Dept. Fire men in Forest Fire incidents. The software also detects and tracks the exact position of any firefighter and sends an alarm in case of a man-down activity.
AYIA NAPA MARINA
Another valuable project was awarded to Telectronics IT in September 2019 by M.M Makronisos Marina LTD for the design, supply and installation of the Ayia Napa Marina Land & Marine Radio Communications System. The system includes Hytera Digital Repeater RD985, PD655 digital handheld radios with integrated GPS receiver and Hytera GPS Dispatcher for the land communications. For the Marine radio needs, Standard Horizon model GX1300E base stations were selected with HX-210E marine handhelds. System was completed in December 2019.
